Hi everyone! I've been reading about Pam and Jim over 10 years now and you can imagine how surprised i was when i first heard her voice on that interview. It was years ago through a player called Throttlebox, you had to download it in 10 parts if i remember well. Well today i want to ask what do you people know about Diane Gardiner. As i can recall from what i read, she was one of Pam's best friends and i think we can learn something about Pam through her.

Apart from what we can read in the books - that she was a publicist and was a good friend of Pamela, hanging out with Pam and always to hear her complaints about Jim's behavior, etc - i learned she died few years ago from cancer (RIP). It's such a shame we can no longer have hopes that she could talk about Pam again. Well, I've read stories that at a point she was living with Chuck Berry and that sometimes she was into the heroin thing with Pam. Can anyone shed a light on Diane?

Hey Crishh! Diane is indeed a very mysterious character. She compared Pamela to Snow White and said Pam was one of the funniest people she ever met. She also said that dangerous things happened when Pam was around..

I know that she was the publicist of Jefferson Airplane for some time, and if I remember well of the Jackson 5 too.. I've also heard that her relationship with Chuck Berry didn't last very long, because he was physically abusive to her. I've heard some stories of Chuck visiting Jim and Pam's home several times, in the Norton Avenue appartment.

It's such a shame that she didn't shared more about Pamela, because she was obviously Pam's very best friend. She claims that LA Woman was for the most part written about her, and to me it seems quite exxagerated though.

Anyways, there's not much more I know about Diane.. she passed away from cancer, around 2008, I think.. Anyone knows more about her?

Oh!!! we didn't know she passed away!!!! this is so sad, many memories she had will stay with her forever.
