Hi EVERYONE!! I am searching for a new book to read that includes info on Pamela. I own Angels Dance and Angels Die, but of all the books I have read that seems to be the only one really focusing on Pamela and Jim's life together. Anyone know of any? Also curious to know a little about Pamela's heroin addiction?! I have read several different things.......that she didn't really start using until after Jim died........that she used during and after and Jim was completely aware. Who really knows? Just curious. It may have just been innocent old pot, planted here by God himself or maybe something more.....but Pamela's eyes always seem so dreamy like shes really somewhere else.

this book is he onlyone really focusing on pam but she's mentionned in some other books, like the end, by sam beckett, the ex owner of the rock n roll circus
This one is great, actually. It isn't only about them, but you can see, through the book, all the 60's, in the world and especially in Paris.

A really good book is The Doors by The Doors written by Ben Fong-Torres. He actually interviewed people that knew Pam and Jim very well (including her mother Penny). Although she was not really close with Jim, she did in fact know him as well and had him over for dinner with Pam a few times. Although the whole book is not dedicated to them, there are some really great stories from those that were closest to them in that book and Ben is a real pro!

I want to read that one! I have read No One Gets Out Alive and ADAD but i have heard that No one gets out alive have allot of fiction, is that true? It is sooo good. You will really enjoy it. NOHGOA is full of a lot of fiction actually. I have read it and much of it is half truths and flat out lies sadly. Ben-Fong Torres's book is probably one of the best I have read on The Doors (Jim and Pam as well) so far. Riders was good, but John was full of a lot of anger and emotion (always has been). It is however good, but he did not care for Pam so in that regard, I would not recommend it. If you want to read about The Doors, that is a pretty good one though. However Ben did a great job. He is so well respected and got the interviews straight from the people that knew them best. He worked very hard on it and it is a great read. Enjoy it!!
